At ManTech International Corporation, we're seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Network Engineer to join our team in the Columbia and Hanover, MD area.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in network engineering, with expertise in optimizing end-to-end system performance and dataflow management. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing network solutions to minimize latency and maximize data throughput.
  • Conducting data captures to obtain network performance information and providing input to the design of the organization's network and mission architecture.
  • Configuring and optimizing the network to connect various front-end and back-end components.
  • Gathering needed data to specify system/component performance and interface requirements.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline and five (5) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support and training commensurate with network engineering curriculums OR
  • A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or related discipline and three (3) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support.
  • Five (5) additional years of relevant experience providing Network Engineering support may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree, making the total experience requirement ten (10) years in Network Engineering without a degree. Seven (7) years of relevant experience providing Network Engineering support may be substituted for a Master's degree, making the total experience requirement ten (10) years in Network Engineering without a degree.
  • Certifications: An Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level I baseline certification as defined by DoD M is required.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of time
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
  • Ability for clear communication with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
