Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Advisor to join our team in a full-time remote position. As a Commercial Insurance Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing insurance solutions to our clients, with a specific emphasis on medical malpractice and small business commercial accounts. Your expertise in these areas, along with Epic experience and a valid commercial insurance license, will enable you to assess risks, develop insurance programs, and deliver tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide appropriate recommendations
  • Assess risks associated with medical malpractice and small business commercial accounts
  • Develop and implement insurance programs to mitigate risks effectively
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients, ensuring clear and accurate communication
  • Conduct policy reviews and provide proactive recommendations for coverage enhancements
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, regulations, and best practices
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Stay updated on changes in the insurance landscape and adapt strategies accordingly

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Advisor, specifically with medical malpractice and small business commercial accounts
  • Applied Epic or AMS360 experience preferred
  • Valid commercial insurance license
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance principles, products, and coverage options
  • Strong analytical skills to assess risks and develop appropriate insurance solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented approach to policy reviews and documentation
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a high level of integrity and professionalism
  • Proficiency in industry software and Microsoft Office Suite
