Job DescriptionJob Description

The Grants Analyst will perform a variety of administrative duties including the following:

  • Build, update, and maintain spreadsheets and work efficiently in multiple databases
  • Review and analyze grant applications with very close attention to detail to ensure and document compliance with guidelines and requirements
  • Manage e-mail inboxes and communicate with applicants as needed to provide customer-focused technical assistance
  • Maintain a system to track actions on incoming/outgoing correspondences
  • Populate a high volume of legal contract documents with close attention to detail and according to template instructions
  • Process a high volume of final expenditures and accounting reports and assist in developing and maintaining systems for reconciliation, documentation, and data management
  • Review and process grant invoices according to instructions
  • Perform other administrative functions as needed
  • Grant Analyst will be required to communicate with external partners which include local law enforcement agencies, nonprofit houses of worship, and other state agencies. 


Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to send clear, concise emails and respond in a timely manner. Be flexible and adaptable to changing work demands/tasks. Organization and attention to detail required. Utilize good time management, note-taking, email organization and distribution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook and Adobe Acrobat is required. Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint is preferred.
