Job Description:

As a Stock Worker/Receiver, you will be an essential part of our warehouse team, responsible for ensuring that our shelves are well-stocked and that orders are picked efficiently. Your role will involve stocking products, receiving and processing shipments, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stocking Shelves: Accurately and efficiently stock shelves with products, ensuring that items are organized and displayed according to company standards.
  • Order Picking: Assist in picking and preparing orders for shipment. Ensure accuracy and completeness of order fulfillment.
  • Receiving Shipments: Receive and inspect incoming shipments, checking for accuracy and quality. Report any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and performing regular inventory checks. Help with inventory adjustments and restocking as needed.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Ensure that all safety and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff and departments to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or stockroom environment is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy items, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Attributes: Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
