Are you an experienced Maintenance Supervisor looking for a rewarding opportunity in Merritt Islands? Our property management company is seeking a skilled individual to oversee maintenance and unit turns at our apartment complex.

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in managing maintenance operations, including hiring and training staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. We're looking for someone with expertise in carpentry, plumbing, and other building systems, along with strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs
  • Create weekly maintenance schedules and delegate tasks efficiently
  • Recruit, supervise, and train maintenance technicians
  • Coordinate with tradesmen during repairs or installations
  • Inspect and maintain building systems to ensure optimal functionality
  • Assist in developing maintenance budgets and ensure compliance
  • Monitor inventory levels of materials and equipment
  • Participate in project coordination, including renovations
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations

Skills:

  • Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or similar role
  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems
  • Familiarity with health and safety practices and regulations
  • Understanding of budgeting and performance management
  • Exceptional planning and leadership abilities
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Fluency in English is required
