High profile and respected NJ & NY Security Systems Integrator with high quality installation standards has immediate openings for ambitious and motivated commercial account representatives. Time spent both prospecting new business and handling company provided leads. Some accounts will be assigned to nurture. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team environment. The account manager is responsible for selling & promoting the services Integrated Systems provides. The Account manager is responsible for securing new sales and upgrades to new & existing Integrated Systems & Services customers while maximizing customer satisfaction and retention by follow-ups. This account manager will also have a knowledge of the company’s product line, as well as the services we offer. .

 

Essential Duties:

  • Research the market as required to determine potential sales leads.
  • Call on potential customers to determine their security needs.
  • Design systems that meet the customer's needs.
  • Prepare proposals (including pricing) as required.
  • Close sales.
  • Keep abreast of competitor’s activities.
  • Maintain both automated and manual filing systems.
  • Other duties that may be assigned.

 

Qualifications and Essential Skills:

  • College degree preferred, however, comparable professional experience will be considered. Must be capable of understanding the functions of electronic security systems and their applications in commercial and government office buildings.
  • Demonstrated outstanding sales skills to commercial clients at the executive level.
  • Outstanding writing and verbal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with little direct supervision.
  • An understanding that work during non-business hours is essential in order to succeed.
  • Excellent personal computer skills including a working knowledge of word processing, spread sheet, contract management, and e-mail programs.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to perform a physical survey of commercial premises such as construction sites, parking garages, office building public spaces, tenant spaces and roofs.
  • Neat, professional appearance.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record and a car.
  • No history of criminal convictions.
  • Drug test & background check required.
