Job Title: Healthcare Trainer
Location: Remote
Pay: $30 - $35 / hr + benefits
Contract Duration: W2, 6 months

Description:
Joining the Medicare and Retirement, Insurance Solutions Operations Training team, the Trainer plays a pivotal role in delivering effective training programs. This position involves staying abreast of various training techniques and business processes, engaging with proprietary products and systems, and possibly contributing to the training design process. The Trainer delivers curriculum to support functional business areas within Insurance Solutions Operations, catering to a diverse audience ranging from newly hired employees to leadership members. All training is conducted virtually.

As part of the Training team, you'll ensure a positive learning environment by meticulous preparation, effective time management, and a learner-centric approach. Monitoring performance metrics, providing feedback, engaging with learners post-training, and driving changes to learning strategies are also essential responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 2+ years of corporate adult technical training experience
  • Familiarity with adult learning theory or methodologies, ADDIE/SAM model
  • Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and MS Teams
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and subject matter experts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher)
  • Experience in healthcare and/or insurance industry training
  • 4+ years of presentation and facilitation expertise
  • Strong work ethic, personal accountability, and independence
  • Effective interpersonal, influence, collaboration, and listening skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, motivate, and perform well under pressure with minimal direction or supervision
