Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently

  • Ability to fulfill office activities, including but not limited to: remaining stationary for extended periods of time (i.e. while working at a desk); stooping/kneeling/crouching; traveling around the office (or between clinics, when required); communicating with others (in both verbal and written communications), and using fine motor skills, including fine hand manipulation and keyboarding; and the ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

  • An energetic individual with a team player attitude, and a focus on providing excellent customer service

 

Knowledge & Technical Skills:

  • Keyboarding speed of at least 40 words per minute

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Proficient with the use of Google Docs/MS Office

  • Proficient with WebPT, Nextiva, and/or Athelas is a plus

  • Ability to seamlessly multi-task on a routine basis, including frequent interruptions.

 

Responsibilities:

The following essential duties and responsibilities are not an exhaustive list of duties, and you will be expected to perform different and/or additional tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the practice.

  • Provide professional, friendly, compassionate, and courteous service to all patients, physical therapy staff, and other professionals, in all interactions, including issue resolution, scheduling, new patient onboarding, and collecting money over the counter.

  • Perform all points of contact for non-clinical patient services, including managing the patient scheduling process; collecting, posting, and depositing patient payments; maintaining patient charts and electronic medical records; maintaining a tidy and sanitary front desk area.

  • Manage clinic scheduling to ensure each patient is matched with the best clinician for their needs/injury, as  well as coordinating scheduling for optimal clinic capacity.

  • Obtain patient demographic, insurance information, and financial information accurately and completely.

  • Coordinate communication of patient progress to medical offices, adjusters, and attorneys.

  • Execute and reinforce administrative and patient experience Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and best practices within the clinic.

  • Answering phones and monitoring faxes and emails.

  • Washing, folding, and putting away towels/pillowcases.

  • Data entry and other general administrative office support to the assigned location.

 

Work Environment:

Consistent with a standard office environment, with occasional loud volume, due to the open format of our offices

 

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience, from $18.00 an hour to $22.00 an hour

  • $300 per paycheck towards the cost of a single annual premium for the plan of your choosing. We currently offer two HDHP plans and one copay plan. The plan is reviewed annually and may change.

  • 10 days of paid time off (vacation/sick) annually, prorated, based on your start date

  • 6 paid holidays per calendar year (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day).

  • 401k plan after working 1,000 hours in a 12-month period.
