SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Fox Chapel, PA

We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining comprehensive financial records. As a Senior Accountant you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting operations and contributing to the overall success of our company.

OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

  • Perform full-cycle bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Process employee expense reports and maintain proper documentation.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Software exposure to Sage Intact and Procore (preferred).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of construction industry accounting practices and regulations is a plus.
