Job DescriptionJob Description

Our client, a highly successful and established local General Contractor, is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to join their team. This pivotal role involves leading the Preconstruction efforts and overseeing the estimating process, collaborating closely with Senior Leadership and the Project Management team to ensure accurate project bids and on-budget delivery. The successful candidate will be provided with all the necessary resources, support, and tools to thrive in this leadership role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the Preconstruction efforts through the full estimating process for new ground-up construction projects (Commercial/Industrial).
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership and Project Management to ensure accurate project bids and successful project execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships.
  • Handle competitive bids and negotiated proposals for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Lead a team of 2 (jr.) Estimators.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in a similar role within a General Contractor or Developer.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field (Preferred).
  • Proven experience managing a team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
