Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMedical Records Clerk/Scanner is responsible for maintaining Electronic Health Records (EHR) for a outpatient mental health practice, ensuring that all pertinent information is properly scanned into each record.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1) Facilitate transfer of paper files to electronic files
2) Process documents according to procedures
3) Maintain confidentiality of patient health information
4) Scan all files into correct patient EHR, under correct tab
5) Meet the productivity standards for charts based on the number of charts scanned each week
6) Other duties as assigned by supervisor

QUALITIES & CHARACTERISTICS
1) Maintains a professional relationship and positive attitude with co-workers
2) Is receptive to feedback and new challenges and opportunities
3) Displays enthusiasm toward the work

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
