We are looking for a hardworking and motivated individual looking for a career. You MUST have
your own car or truck to get to job sites. This is not an office job, you will be up on the roof working
alongside your team - motivating, teaching, and training. The ideal person will have experience and
an understanding of construction and roofing, an outstanding work ethic, as well as having
excellent communication and management skills.Responsibilities
  • Ensure there is adequate materials and equipment to safely and efficiently complete projects
  • Organize, lead, and train employees to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframes.
  • Attention to detail with an emphasis on safety, quality, customer service, and productivity
  • Effectively manage all aspects of the construction workflow of the project to drive productivity
  • Effectively maintain project documentation and photo requirements
  • Demonstrate knowledge of OSHA standards related to roofing procedures and maintain and enforce site safety practices and standards in OSHA compliance
  • Demonstrate understanding of how materials and roofing systems go together and come apart in order to complete repairs to existing roofing systems
  • Develop a positive working dynamic within installation crews and co-workers
  • Analyze and resolve employee problems and recommend solutions
  • Maintain consistent and appropriate interface with customer throughout construction phase maintaining good customer relations at all times
  • Maintain excellent lines of communication with co-workers and customers
  • Perform service calls when necessary
Qualifications
  • Must have minimum of Ten (10) years roofing experience, or completion of a four year federally approved technical training program in roofing; and any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, and skills have been achieved
  • Knowledge of standard roofing procedures, materials, and buildings codes as they relate to the roofing process and new construction.
  • Professional appearance and customer interaction
  • Have a strong work ethic, high level of craftsmanship/workmanship with strong attention to detail.
  • Have excellent verbal communication and documentation skills and basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Conduct and participate in work meetings to improve project flow.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and manage fast moving work schedule.
  • Have excellent people skills, able to manage, motivate and discipline when necessary
Physical Demands
  • Ability to drive a vehicle during the normal course of business. Must have valid driver’s license, maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check.
  • Ability to drive a truck and trailer
  • Ability to work safely in a branch/warehouse/rooftop environment
  • Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance)
  • Ability to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces which requires frequent bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, turning, standing, and balance
  • Ability to work in confined spaces which requires kneeling, crouching and climbing ladders
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including but not limited to: excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, wet environment, and humidity
  • Ability to frequently utilize hand functions requiring fine/gross motor skills including but not limited to: fine manipulation, grasping, pinching, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
