Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Controller with extensive experience using NetSuite/Oracle (A MUST) to take ownership of our accounting operations. This is a senior-level position ideal for someone looking to relocate and work closely with the company’s owners in the Colorado Springs market. Candidates may also reside in the Denver metro area (south to Pueblo), with the flexibility to meet with the owners regularly.


Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Oversee the full cycle of accounting processes, including accruals, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.
- Provide strategic financial insights by analyzing financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and potential risks.
- Collaborate closely with the owners to align financial strategies with business goals and ensure effective communication.
- Ensure compliance with multi-state tax regulations, including the management of different tax codes.
- Utilize NetSuite to streamline financial operations and maintain accurate records across all aspects of the business.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a senior-level Controller or similar role.
- Proven expertise in NetSuite is essential.
- Strong proficiency in accrual accounting, financial statements, and balance sheets.
- Advanced skills in Excel, with the ability to perform complex data analysis.
- Demonstrated business acumen, with the capability to identify and address cash flow issues and optimize financial performance.
- Extensive experience in multi-state tax compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with company owners.
- Willingness to relocate to Colorado Springs or reside in the Denver metro area (south to Pueblo) with regular travel to Colorado Springs.
