We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist for a 13+ week assignment with Indian Health Services (IHS) in Peridot, Arizona. This position is open to local professionals as well as those interested in relocation.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage daily administrative functions to ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
  2. Develop and implement systems for measuring and tracking outcomes to improve operational and financial performance, integrating these systems into broader Quality Improvement strategies.
  3. Lead the development, implementation, and review of departmental policies and procedures.
  4. Regularly assess program performance and drive initiatives for process improvements.
  5. Provide feedback and apply HR policies to support staff development and maintain high performance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
  • At least five years of professional experience, including a minimum of two years in a managerial role.
  • Bachelors degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred, with one year of residency.
  • Current, unrestricted Pharmacy license; Arizona license preferred.
  • AHA/BLS certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening required.
