Job Overview: Staff Inpatient Pharmacist

Join our team at a partnering Indian Health Services munity hospital in Peridot, Arizona, as a Staff Inpatient Pharmacist. We are looking for a dedicated professional to deliver exceptional pharmacy services to our inpatient population. This role offers a chance to positively impact patient well-being in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing and distribution.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and ensure patient safety.
  • Monitor medication orders for appropriateness, accuracy, and potential drug interactions.
  • Participate in medication reconciliation processes and provide clinical pharmacy services as needed.
  • Assist in training and supervising pharmacy technicians and interns.

Requirements:

  • Pharm.D. or bachelors degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a pharmacist.
  • Previous experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting preferred, especially with tribal munities.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of pharmacy practice standards.
  • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.

  • Duration: 13 weeks (Temp-to-Hire option available)
  • Shifts: 3-4 shifts per week, 12 hours each, from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
