HR Manager

Manufacturing Experience & Union Experience are a plus

Aegis has partnered with a Union Manufacturing facility that is looking to add an HR Manager to its team. We are looking for individuals who come from a heavy industrial or manufacturing background. Having experience working with Unions is a plus. This position will have two direct reports so having leadership skills will help candidates stand out.

Responsibilities

 

  • Design and implement an integrated service center strategy. Ensures the execution of consistent and legally sound processes. Partners with other Human Resources functions to ensure alignment and integration of strategies.
  • Responsible for HR Systems and system operations, ensure data integrity, report, and analyze data flows to ensure accuracy
  • Ensure a positive working relationship within the service center team and with client groups by frequently communicating and soliciting feedback and measuring customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee and supervise the organizations payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.
  • Work directly with the Accounting team to ensure the timely processing of ACH payments, wire transfers, tax payments and other financial obligations associated with payroll processing.
  • Process and manage of multi-site payrolls for 1400+ employees
  • Support in leading the implementation of new HR related system – Success Factors
  • Oversee and maintain the organization’s internal HRIS, which include database management, development, maintenance, and upgrades
  • Recruit and Onboard new hires Conduct performance management and provide feedback Manage Payroll and benefits for employees

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
  • Union Experience
  • Leadership Experience
  • Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
  • Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
  • Attention to detail and good judgement
