Pay                                      $24- $28 an hour

Shift and schedule          Weekends as needed, Evenings as needed, Holidays

 

Role Summary

The Installation Technician 2 is an hourly, non-exempt position. Successful candidates will be punctual, dependable, safety conscious, team players who are physically capable of repetitive work that includes, lifting, pushing, and use of hand tools. This position may be tasked with a variety of duties where flexibility is a must. Communication with the onsite Lead or PM will be paramount to the success of this position.  

Responsibilities

·        Loading and unloading materials

·        Hands on requirement for installation of large walk-in cooler boxes and trim work

·        Ability to utilize CAD/DWG or other similar engineering software to measure and layout cooler boxes

·        Ensure assigned work is understood prior to commencing

·        Complete assigned work within given timeframe according to specifications

·        Ability to read directions to verify the parts required prior to assembly/installation

·        Communication with Lead or PM as needed

·        Material and site clean up

 

Qualifications

·        At least 1 year previous experience in construction, carpentry, trim/finish carpentry or similar industries preferred

·        Effective written and verbal communication skills

·        Experience with hand tools and industrial equipment (tape measure, drills, impacts, fork lifts, lulls, scissor lifts)

·        Must be able to walk long distances daily due to scale of the warehouse and supermarket environment. Able to carry up to 45 pounds, lift and move parts and tools requiring bending and carrying, within safe limits

 

Preferred Skills

 

·        Bilingual Spanish/English speaking is a plus

·        OSHA 10 or greater

·        Forklift Certification, OSHA Lull Certification, OSHA Aerial and Scissor Lift Certification

·        Steel erection and working at heights
