This role involves managing a team of maintenance professionals, developing and implementing maintenance strategies, and coordinating with other departments to support production and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Plan and oversee maintenance schedules and activities, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency.
- Manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting, cost control, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Oversee the procurement of maintenance supplies, equipment, and services.
- Develop and maintain maintenance documentation, including manuals, work orders, and maintenance logs.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and reduce costs.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
