Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Generate comprehensive documentation for new designs, encompassing 3D models, drawings, bills of material, and technical data for brochures and manuals.
  • Translate customer requirements into viable product designs.
  • Engage in various aspects of new product development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing to integrate new designs seamlessly into production.
  • Assess and enhance existing processes and procedures to optimize efficiency.
  • Provide technical support to sales and technical service teams regarding new product inquiries.
  • Proficiency in utilizing hand and power tools, as well as instruments for lab tests.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Previous experience as a New Product Development Engineer within the Manufacturing Industry.
  • Proficiency in creating parts and assemblies.
  • Familiarity with 3D CAD software, specifically Solid Edge.
  • Experience with coding languages, particularly VBA; proficiency in Python and Java is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with ERP software.

Skills:

New Product Development, VBA, Python, Java, 3D CAD, Manufacturing, Solid Edge, ERP Software.

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Previous experience in New Product Development (2-3 years).
  • Proficiency in coding languages (VBA, Python, Java), with a preference for VBA.
  • Experience with an ERP system.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating parts and assemblies using 3D CAD.
