Ford Motor Company’s Under Body Systems Engineering (UnSE) team within the Product Development organization is in need of a system engineer to support electrified system engineering for power units and generators on current and future model BEV and PHEV vehicles.
Education:
Bachelors ’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Master’s preferred.Experience:
2+ years of experience of system engineering, vehicle electrification or related Automotive domain Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships with all functions and levels across the organization. Prior experience in Automotive industry, working with cross functional team to develop new technology. Work with cross-functional teams, collaborate and effectively communicate within your development team Must be able to work with global cross functional team for issue resolution Component test experience with bench and / or dyno Vehicle system level test experience for electro-mechanical modules Ability to multi-task effectively on projects and assignments Manage to work with suppliers for design and system engineering Knowledge of Powertrain controls / communication system PPAP experience Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certificationYou may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply
