Job DescriptionJob Description

Company is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of medical claims.

Responsibilities include the following:

  1. Monitor and oversee Medical Billing A/R system while maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of patients' account.
  2. Complete electronic/manual billing for all medical claims. Constantly monitor any insurance issues and updates to provide company with up-to-date information.
  3. Follow-up on A/R accounts in accordance with company policies and procedures.  Ensure all collection efforts are accurately noted in billing system. Ensure all payments are accurately entered.
  4. Provide quality customer service for the best possible outcome regarding account resolution.
  5. Provide support for PT receptionist related to EMR software and customer concerns.
  6. Work in conjunction with PT A/R Billing Manager to ensure PT policies and procedures are updated and followed.
  7. Computer skills required with Excell knowledge beneficial.
  8. Perform additional duties as requested by Business Office Manager, PT Billing Manager and/or Owner.  Additional duties may include support of some financial duties under management of Business Office Manager.
