Role Description

This is a full-time, 4 days a week role as a Medical Assistant (MA) and Patient Care Technician (PCT) Instructor & requires a combination of in-person hands-on instruction at our location. There is some potential for partial remote work after training. Monday - Thursday, with always a 4-day work week. The Medical Assistant Instructor will be responsible for delivering instruction, working with the students within the online learning portal and facilitating hands-on learning in the field of medical assisting.

 

Qualifications

  • Medical Assisting, Medicine, and Medical Terminology knowledge
  • Minimum of 5 years recent experience as a Medical Assistant, or as a Patient Care Technician
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to the changing needs of the medical field and the company
  • Prior teaching a medical assistant program is a plus but not absolutely necessary as long as there is a strong history of working within professional healthcare environments
  • Medical Assistant certifications, including CCMA, CPCT, CEHRS, CPT, CET and CMAA through the NHA, or within 120 days of hire
  • Tech savvy and positive outlook with a strong desire to see other succeed
