Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver swim instruction aligned with the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
  2. Uphold safety regulations to mitigate risks.
  3. Assess student progress and complete necessary documentation promptly.
  4. Engage with parents/guardians regarding students' swimming development.
  5. Act as a representative of Goldfish Swim School to ensure parent satisfaction.
  6. Utilize problem-solving and creative thinking to address challenges faced by students.
  7. Inspect pool facilities before and after classes for maintenance, cleanliness, or damage. Report any issues to management as needed.
  8. Assist in the setup and cleanup of the pool area before and after shifts, including proper storage of equipment and lane line management.
  9. Document and report any accidents or incidents to management.
  10. Occasionally perform light cleaning tasks such as window washing and trash removal.
  11. Attend mandatory workshops and training sessions outside of regular hours.
  12. Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Safety Standards:
The safety of our swimmers, parents, and team members is our highest priority. Goldfish Swim School adheres to all CDC and WHO safety guidelines, along with local regulations.


Qualifications:
Applicants must be at least 15 years old. While experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor, camp counselor, or childcare provider is preferred, it is not mandatory. Swimming experience is advantageous. A clear background check is required.


Certifications:
CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications must be obtained within 90 days of employment.


Work Environment:
Employees may be regularly exposed to heat and humidity, with a moderate noise level.
