Environmental Specialist Job Summary

We are looking for an Environmental Specialist. In this role, you will conduct on-site facility inspections to determine the presence, through sampling methods, of asbestos. As an asbestos abatement project manager, you act as the owner's representative to ensure the project is accomplished according to plan. During the project, you also provide the EPA and OSHA required air-monitoring. As part of air-monitoring, you take air samples and perform microscope analysis as part of the process to maintain not only environmental health, but also the health of the workers and nearby residents. You will also be responsible for assisting School Districts with their AHERA compliance.

Sign on Bonus:

  • $1,000 bonus paid at the end of the first employment year.

Environmental Specialist Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Conduct on-site inspections
  • On-site air monitoring
  • Project management
  • Ensure that our school clients are complying with all state and federal environmental asbestos regulations

Environmental Specialist Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum High School education or GED
  • Driver’s license.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must pass drug screening.
  • No previous experience necessary, we will pay for training.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
