Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Part-Time Retail Associate to join our team. As a Retail Associate at Cypress Discgolf, you will play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a love for disc golf or a willingness to learn about the sport, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing store layout, including stocking shelves and managing inventory.
  • Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle cash and credit payments.
  • Assist with product selection, offering recommendations based on customers' needs and preferences.
  • Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and trends in disc golf to provide informed recommendations.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including balancing cash drawers and ensuring the store is clean and organized.
  • Support promotional events and sales initiatives to drive store performance.

Qualifications:

  • Previous retail experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Basic math skills and experience handling cash transactions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evening shifts Monday through Thursday, with a willingness to consider additional shifts as needed.
  • An interest in disc golf is a plus, but not required—enthusiasm to learn about the sport is important.

Work Schedule:

  • Part-Time position with shifts available Monday through Thursday evenings.
  • Open availability is a plus and may increase scheduling flexibility.
