Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns for small to medium-sized businesses and individual clients.
- Conduct comprehensive tax research and stay up-to-date with the latest tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Provide expert tax advice and planning strategies to clients to optimize their tax situations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and explain tax-related matters.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate completion of all tax filings.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of all tax-related activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Prosystems FX is a plus
- CPA license is plus or working towards
