Job DescriptionJob Description

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experience Circular Knitting Machine Technician for our client in High Point. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting circular knitting machines used in textile production. This position works from 7am-3pm, Monday-Friday (with overtime as required).

Job Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on circular knitting machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with knitting machines.
  • Replace worn-out machine parts such as needles, belts, gears, and other components as needed.
  • Monitor machine performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal production levels and quality.
  • Perform calibration and alignment of machine parts to ensure consistent production output.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and machine performance.
  • Work closely with the production team to understand machine requirements and address operational issues.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure all machines comply with safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and parts are readily accessible.
  • Provide training and guidance to operators on machine functionality and basic troubleshooting.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a mechanic working with circular knitting machines.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of textile production and circular knitting machine operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret machine schematics, technical drawings, and manuals.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
