Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Audio Visual Commissioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AV system commissioning, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for ensuring high-quality system performance. Responsibilities:

  • Commission AV systems including audio, video, control, and network components to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and calibration.
  • Work closely with installation teams to verify that systems are installed according to design specifications.
  • Test and validate system functionality and performance against client requirements.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation and maintenance.
  • Document system configurations, settings, and commissioning processes.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Audio Visual Commissioning Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of AV systems, including audio, video, control, and network components.
  • Proficient in system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and calibration.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Certification in AVIXA CTS, Crestron, or equivalent is a plus.
