Responsibilities:

  • Design and engineer audio visual systems for a variety of projects, including corporate boardrooms, conference centers, educational facilities, and entertainment venues.
  • Develop detailed system designs, including schematics, signal flow diagrams, and equipment lists.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide customized AV solutions that meet project requirements and budgets.
  • Collaborate with project managers, installation teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AV technologies, industry trends, and best practices to ensure that our solutions are cutting-edge and future-proof.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, including system design narratives, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
  • Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases of projects.
  • Conduct site visits as needed to assess project requirements and oversee the implementation of designs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an AV Design Engineer or similar role in the audio visual industry.
  • Strong knowledge of AV systems, including audio, video, control, and network components.
  • Proficient in CAD software and other design tools used in AV system design.
  • Ability to create detailed schematics, signal flow diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Certification in AVIXA CTS-D, Crestron, or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices, including ADA, NEC, and others relevant to AV design.
  • A passion for technology and a commitment to staying current with industry advancements.
