Job DescriptionJob Description

As a Level 2 IT Technician at HCANS, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. You will work closely with other IT staff and end-users to resolve technical problems, manage hardware and software installations, and contribute to various IT projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide second-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues escalated from Level 1 support.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups.
  • Assist with the implementation of new technologies and IT projects.
  • Document technical procedures, solutions, and user guides.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Train and support end-users in the use of IT resources and applications.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to improve system performance and security.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
