Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and certified Medical Assistant to join our team. This is a new position within our clinic, created to support our nurse practitioner in delivering top-notch care to our weight loss and aesthetic patients. As our services grow and evolve, we need someone who is flexible, adaptable, and ready to grow with us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the nurse practitioner with patient care, specifically with weight loss and aesthetic patients.
  • Take and record vital signs accurately.
  • Perform clinical photography for patient records and treatment progress.
  • Assist with charting and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Room patients and prepare them for procedures.
  • Set up and assist with clinic procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and answering questions.
  • Adapt to evolving job duties as new services and procedures are introduced.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to new and changing job duties.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting, especially with weight loss or aesthetic patients, is a plus.
