Job DescriptionJob Description

The Production Supervisor directly supervises employees in the production area, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, safety regulations, and other applicable laws. They coordinate activities of production workers to meet production schedules and maintain quality standards, inspect products, coordinate machine setup, and adjust operations to meet quality standards. They coordinate with other supervisors to maintain records, conduct meetings, coordinate activities, and work with the Human Resources team to assist in hiring and training employees, addressing complaints, and ensuring a positive work environment.

Required

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or relevant experience.

• 3+ years of experience in a production environment, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

• Ability to read, interpret documents, and write routine reports and correspondence.

• Effective verbal communication skills.

• Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to perform fundamental tasks on a computer. This includes proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word. MS PowerPoint and MS Access experience a plus.

• Ability to adhere to delegation of authority and lead by management's instructions.

• Attendance is an essential job requirement, including punctuality and reliability.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Must be able to work extended and flexible hours to include weekends as needed

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift 50 + with the assistance of other employees or equipment.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Must have the physical strength and ability to frequently work more than 40 hours per week.
