About Us: Our Company is a Commercial General Construction and Construction Management firm known for delivering high-quality construction projects on time and within budget. We specialize in low-rise, non-residential construction projects and are dedicated to alignment of scope, budget, schedule, quality and safety. We are looking for a driven and experienced professional to join our team with the potential to advance to the Director of Construction.

Job Description: We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to join our team and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of large-scale commercial construction projects. This role offers a unique career progression opportunity, with the successful candidate having a clear path to becoming the Director of Construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Extensive knowledge of Contracts and ability to minimize potential obstacles.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management and clients.
  • Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the commercial construction industry.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale commercial projects successfully.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, means, and methods.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, execution and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to project sites as required.
