Busy multi doctor practice looking for Licensed NYS Veterinary Technician.  

MUST have:

Great people skills.

Great communication skills, in person and on the phone and over email (speak clearly and write legibly).

Multi-taking abilities and be detail oriented.

Compassion for patients and for the work that you do. 

Desire to want to help.

Good work ethic.

Ability to educate clients.

Technical Abilities MUST include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Venipuncture
  • Catheter Placement
  • Intubation 
  • Administration of medications PO, SQ, IM, IV
  • Accurate calculations of medications
  • Current knowledge of medications
  • Ability to capture and position for radiograph views
  • Dental digital radiographs a plus
  • Monitoring of Anesthesia
  • Proper Sterilization Methods

We are looking for a reliable, detail-orientated person that can work well independently and with a team.  We consistently strive for excellent customer service as well as great working environment.  Salary will commensurate based upon your experience.  You must be able to provide us with working references and you will be required to work one weekend day.  We look forward to hearing from you.
