The candidate should be able to flourish in a production goal-oriented, multi-task environment with attention to detail.  Candidate will be responsible for inbound receiving and verification of shipments on a daily basis.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Inbound freight, including verification of individual quantity and lots.
  • Receive inbound material into computer system.
  • Verify outbound orders for accuracy.
  • Assist with checking freight that is being loaded on carriers.
  • Assist with inventory issues and cycle counts.
  • Secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Must be able to work overtime as required • All other job duties assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager

 

Role Qualifications:

  • High school degree or GED required
  • Team building and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable, work with a sense of urgency
  • Work well under pressure and time constraints
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a team environment

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand / walk for an extended time period
  • Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 50 pounds
  • Operate warehouse equipment as required for position (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker) which requires coordinated movements
