We are currently seeking an RW/JW/Apprentice Electrician You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers. 

KMB Electric is a residential and commercial electrical contractor in Colorado Springs.  Veteran owned and operated company providing quality work in the greater CO Springs area as well as some mountain towns (some travel required when necessary).  We are currently looking for 1-2 EXPERIENCED apprentice electricians as well as 1 residential wireman or journeyman electrician.  RW/JW must have solid experience in running a crew of 3 to 4 electricians in a residential/commercial setting.  

KMB Electric is primarily a residential electrical contractor with some commercial opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair electrical equipment.
  • Install various types of raceways and wiring methods.
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
  • Adhere to all quality and safety codes
  • New construction residential for Custom and semi-custom home builders.
  • Remodels, additions, service upgrades, deck covers, sunrooms, troubleshooting and diagnosing.

​​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in residential electrical (new construction)
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
  • Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • MUST have a valid drivers license and reliable personal transportation (Licensed electricians will be provided a work van and gas card)
