Grade Foreman

G.P.’s Enterprises, Inc. is a civil construction company. The purpose of this job description is to serve as a general guideline to establish and outline the job duties and responsibilities of the position of the Grade Foreman here at G.P.’s Enterprises, Inc.

Job Duties Include but are not limited to:

· Responsible for supervising and coordinating work for each member of your grading crew

· Report to the Superintendent of the project to which you have been assigned

· Responsible for managing all logs, daily job reports, and timesheets for each member of your crew

· Responsible for time management making sure to stay within time frame of project scope

· Analyze and resolve work related issues surrounding your crew and/ or the project within your scope

· Works closely with Superintendent and Project Manager to coordinate all grading operations and manage crew in daily tasks to maintain project schedule.

· Work directly with any subcontractors on the job

· Inspect any and all equipment and report any damages to shop for repair

· Make sure all equipment is secured and stored properly at the end of the shift to prevent theft or damage

· Maintain company vehicle in good clean working order including turning in mileage each week and scheduling maintain with shop

Requirements

· 2+ years of Grading Foreman

· 5+ years Grading required

· Must possess knowledge in all areas of dirt work, including excavation, grade work, and surveying

· Current Georgia Driver’s License

· DOT experience required
