We are seeking an Estimator to utilize our software to perform material takeoffs & develop templates for residential, commercial & ag related plans. This is a role that has ebbs and flows with volume and deadlines.

What You Will Do:

  • You will use software to develop material lists related to new construction, remodeling, additions & outbuildings. Those materials include but are not limited to: Lumber, Siding, Roofing...etc.
  • You will be required to read blueprints and have a basic knowledge of the building materials as mentioned in the above point.
  • You will review/finish projects started by other members of Paradigm, making sure that the list is complete before sending the report.
  • You will start on the Exteriors of the house. When you have met our expectation for the Exteriors estimating, you may be asked to move to the full takeoff dept of Paradigm Estimating.
  • You will be expected to be able to answer questions about an estimate done by an estimator other than yourself.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • You have experience working with MS office.
  • You have strong time management & communication skills.
  • You will be expected to be able to answer questions about an estimate done by an estimator other than yourself
  • You need critical thinking, including creative development skills, requirements analysis capabilities, and proven problem-solving skills.
  • You need to be dependable, organized and enjoy working in a changing/fast paced environment. We are Agile
