Overview:

  • The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing outstanding service to customers by answering inquiries, handling complaints, and processing orders for medical equipment rentals. They will be the primary point of contact for customers and will play a critical role in ensuring the satisfaction of our clients.
Responsibilities:

Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email in a timely and professional manner

Resolve customer complaints and issues by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within established guidelines

Process customer orders for equipment rentals, including entering orders into our system and coordinating equipment delivery and pickup

Provide accurate and up-to-date information on rental rates, availability, and equipment specifications

Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of equipment and resolve any issues that may arise

Maintain customer records in our database, including customer contact information, rental history, and billing information

Continuously strive to improve the customer experience by suggesting process improvements and identifying areas for optimization

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare-related field

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) software

Understanding of medical terminology and equipment, a plus

Key Competencies:

Exceptional customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Working Conditions:

The position is primarily office-based.

Physical Demands:

The position requires prolonged sitting and computer use. Some lifting and carrying of equipment may be required on occasion.
