We are seeking a Legal Assistant to become a part of our team You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact w clients with kindness, care, compassion and empathy;
  • Conduct research on clerk of court website to gather file opening information;
  • Assist with producing form motions and filing thru IL E-File, or other formats;
  • Modify & produce form letters, reminders and billing to clients;
  • Gather response discovery from prosecution and provide copies to clients;
  • Provide follow up tasks to clients and gather the requested materials from clients:
  • BONUS IF YOU HAVE LEGAL RESEARCH SKILLS
  • BONUS IF YOU HAVE SKILLS MAKING & POSTING VIDEO ON SOCIAL MEDIA
  • BONUS IF YOU CAN PROBLEM SOLVE ON YOUR OWN

​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a paralegal, other legal pro or office pro
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, be detail oriented & a self starter
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
