Quality Control Specialist

Position Information:

Full Time

Pay- will be based on experience

Location: Houston, TX

Nationwide reseller of electrical parts and components company seeking an experienced Quality Control Specialist to join Houston Manufacturing center.

Duties include, but not limited to the following:

  • Complete miscellaneous quality checks per control plan 
  • Analyze quality problems and advise plant personnel
  • Provide quality support and guidance on all calibrated equipment, capability studies, process control plans, etc.
  • Developing site quality documentation and supporting certifications
  • Perform detailed tooling and part inspections based on blueprint drawings
  • Approve in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating the required adjustments to the production supervisor
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, attending seminars, watching industry videos, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s license
  • 3+ years of Quality Control experience
  • Two-year Technical Degree
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment efficiently
  • Fundamental understanding of a plant manufacturing operation
  • UL 508A MTR Experience
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
