Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various laboratory procedures and research development activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to scientific research in a dynamic laboratory setting. This position is a temp to hire position. Ideal candidates will have 6months+ experience working within a lab or with blood products. Shifts are:

Must be able to work the following shift:

Sunday 8a-6p

Monday to Wednesday 7a-5p There is a possibility of overtime

Responsibilities:

  • Sorting and cataloging blood supply
  • Preparing blood to be shipped
  • Performing quality check to ensure that blood is kept at correct temperature
  • Follow SOP for the lab

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months experience working in a Lab or with Blood products
  • Must have an understanding of Laboratory rules and regulations
