Summary:

The PLC Technician maintains and troubleshoots beverage manufacturing and packaging equipment, leveraging strong mechanical skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, conveyors, and PLC usage. The role involves collaborating with production teams to quickly resolve issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and continuously improving processes. This position requires a minimum of three years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience and proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in troubleshooting activities and problem-solving in case of equipment failure.
  • Perform maintenance, testing, and upgrading of all production equipment, including new installations.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs, adhering to safety practices and fostering positive interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
  • Proficiency with RS Logix 5000, RS Logix 500, or RS Logix 5 software for machine troubleshooting.
  • Technical skills including the ability to read and understand electrical schematics, use a multimeter in control panels with up to 480VAC, and proficiency in replacing and configuring VFDs and PanelView applications.
