Job Summary

Ground Water Treatment & Technology, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation and Controls Technician to join our team. As an Instrumentation and Controls Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrade of industrial wastewater equipment control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Provide troubleshooting of electrical and electronic controls problems or breakdowns, perform modifications in PLC's/Drives/Control Electronics as needed.
  • Design and Commissioning: Assist in the design, specification, and commissioning of industrial wastewater equipment control systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with mechanical and maintenance personnel to analyze root causes of equipment failures and propose corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Strong Electrical Troubleshooting Skills: NFPA 70E Qualified Person.
  • PLC Expertise: Expertise in PLC ladder logic design and troubleshooting, confident in Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs and associated hardware.
  • Software Proficiency: Software programs such as Allen Bradley and Siemens.
  • Motor Controllers/VFD's: Expertise in Motor Controllers/VFD's.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to work under pressure during troubleshooting of equipment breakdown, self-starter with solid oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Instrumentation & Control Technician: 5 years of experience (Preferred).
  • ISA CCST Certification: ISA CCST Certification.
