Primary responsibilities for our RECRUITING COORDINATOR role include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Develop and implement recruiting strategies to achieve corporate goals and objectives

· Manage entire recruitment process by creating/uploading job postings, sourcing and screening candidate resumes, scheduling interviews, and helping to select qualified applicants who should receive an offer of employment

· Perform recruiting tasks with a sense of urgency and aggressiveness necessary to achieve or exceed desired staffing levels on a regular and consistent basis

· Identify recruiting sources offering best value/results and advertise employment opportunities in accordance with company objectives

· Regularly monitor recruiting sources and employment ad content to maximize effectiveness and make changes as necessary for desired results

· Identify and attend recruiting events and customize recruiting efforts accordingly to facilitate desired outcomes

· Conduct reference checks, background screening and other related activities as may be necessary to qualify applicants for employment

Requirements:

· Works onsite daily as scheduled at employer’s facility to interact with hiring managers, participate in meetings, perform candidate pre-screens, conduct interviews, etc.

· Associate’s (or higher) degree in Human Resources or similar field and/or 2+ years demonstrated relevant work experience

· 2+ years of direct recruiting experience for all levels, exempt and non-exempt, and to include subcontract labor in a corporate, “for-profit” environment

· Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, especially as they pertain to hiring

· A professional demeanor with appropriate presence and tact to suitably represent company in various environments

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills using the English language

· Dependable with valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to/from wok at our Lorton, VA facility

· Ability to occasionally travel to attend various recruiting-related events

Desired candidates will be outgoing, personable, energetic, computer savvy, and work well independently while collaborating with others to achieve organizational goals. Experience in the household goods industry is preferred but is not required. Alternatively, prior relevant experience in the transportation, hospitality, or construction industries is also highly desirable.
