As a FT or PT-Wound Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with wounds, ensuring their comfort and promoting healing. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and contribute to their overall well-being.General AccountabilitiesDuties:
Perform comprehensive assessments of patients with wounds, including venipuncture and diagnostic evaluations
Develop and implement individualized wound care plans based on assessment findings
Provide wound care treatments, including dressing changes, debridement, and application of topical medications
Monitor and evaluate the progress of wound healing
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomesJob Qualifications
Must hold an active Mid-Level Practitioner LicenseStrong knowledge and experience in wound care management
Ability to triage patients effectively in emergency situations
Experience in acute care settings, such as ER or ICU recommended but not required
Familiarity with hospice palliative medicine for end-of-life wound care
Experience working in nursing homes or long-term care facilities is preferred
Understanding of behavioral health considerations in wound care
Driving is required, dependable vehicle is a must
Rounding practices in skilled nursing, assisted living, and clinic settings are essential for patient care. LocationSeattle and Spokane, Spokane Valley Washington and surrounding areas.
