At United Hospice, we are dedicated to honoring life, giving care, and bringing comfort to our patients and families. Our service delivery care model focuses on providing patient centered care, clinical excellence and supporting patients and their families at an end-of-life illness. We are currently looking for a Hospice RN to join the United Hospice team.

This is a Full-time Position. The salary range for this position is $74k-$95k annually and is commensurate with education and applicable experience and certifications. All full-time/benefits-eligible positions offer a generous benefits package including health insurance, 401k with profit sharing, paid time off, and other additional perks.

To be an RN Hospice Nurse you need to be:

  • A Registered RN, licensed to practice nursing in New York State.
  • One to two years of recent bedside nursing experience with good clinical skills.
  • Dedicated to the philosophy of hospice care.
  • Believe that excellent patient care is the only acceptable standard.
  • Comfortable providing community-based care.
  • Some experience caring for terminally ill patients and a basic understanding and commitment to the hospice philosophy of care.
  • Ability to assess the needs of terminally ill patients and their families and to plan care to meet these needs.
  • Ability to relate to a diverse population and workforce in a personable and effective manner.
  • Love to work on a team of dedicated professionals from multiple disciplines.
  • Must have access to a car, valid driver's license, and current insurance.
