Job Description:
As a CNC Lathe Operator at Reuland Electric Motor Company, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. We are seeking a highly skilled operator with hands-on experience in setting up and operating CNC machines. This role requires a deep understanding of machine operations and the ability to meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture parts per blueprints.
  • Properly use and maintain tooling and fixtures.
  • Inspect all parts during and upon completion of machining to meet quality standards.
  • Meet or exceed quality and quantity standards established by the department supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Five years of experience as a CNC operator.
  • Knowledge of all inspection equipment necessary to perform job duties.
  • Proficiency in basic shop math.
  • Ability to work to a tolerance of .0002”.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use standard machine shop tools, including O.D. and depth micrometers, and vernier calipers.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with the supervisor, lead person, and other employees.
