Job Description: As a General Machinist at Reuland Electric Motor Company, you will play a crucial role in the Machine Shop. We are seeking a highly skilled machinist with hands-on experience in setting up and operating various types of machinery. This role requires a deep understanding of machine operations and the ability to meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate drill presses.
- Set up and operate Radial drill.
- Set up and operate the engine lathes.
- Set up and operate the broaching machines.
- Inspect and change parts on CNC lathes.
- Set up and operate balancing machine.
- Set up and operate Cim-X Mill.
- Meet or exceed quality and quantity standards established by the department supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the lead person or supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a general machinist.
- Ability to organize and plan work by dates and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using standard machine shop tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
