This position works with the inside sales team to support the outside sales team, as well as the customer directly. A successful inside sales representative will help grow sales revenue by developing customer relationships, managing incoming customer orders, and providing excellent customer service.
Full-time or Part-time schedule
Duties
Develops sales opportunities by building customer rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
Closes new accounts by responding to telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries and verifying and entering information.
Fills orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, creates necessary purchase orders, communicates expected delivery date and explains stock-outs.
Develops accounts by checking customer's buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
Maintains and improves quality results by following standards and recommends improved policies and procedures
Participate in product demonstrations at customer locations
Performs other duties when necessary
Qualifications
High school education or equivalent
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and well-organized
Customer service and data entry skills
Able to handle physical demands of product demos - loading/unloading materials
